People who live in the far north have had to adapt to a cold and hostile environment, the Inuit and the Sámi to name a few are famous for their Arctic skills, and they have had a long tradition of living in harmony with the wildlife, using the meat for food and the fur for making clothing.

The caribou fur clothing is unsurpassed for life in the high Arctic; due to the hairs being hollow and light. The temperatures there can drop as low as -50, so fur clothing is by far the finest for a natural resource.

Wild Spirit Bushcraft whilst run expeditions into the high Arctic have spent time learning the skills from these exceptional people and have brought these skills home.

Our clothes have no brand name just hand made to size. The clothing is inadequate in temperatures under -15, as perspiring would be inevitable and dangerous due to it freezing on the body, however it can be used when ice fishing as movement is minimum. Any temperature over -17 to -50 with high quality thermal underwear will be adequate.
